At Superior Fires we have a wide range of modern and traditional wooden fireplace surrounds. Our surrounds are available in a number of different finishes including: pine, MDF with oak or walnut veneer, and painted white. Our wooden surrounds are designed to be attractive yet affordable and therefore we employ a number of techniques to give the appearance of real wood but at a fraction of the cost.

Our high quality oak and walnut veneer surrounds along with our painted models are made using a stable MDF core base. Our pine and waxed pine models are made from solid pine and provide you with the opportunity to hand paint or stain to a colour of your choice to match your interior. Please note our wooden veneer surrounds feature natural variations in knot formation making each fireplace unique.

Your fireplace is made up of a number of different components and it is important to ensure that your installer not only meets the required qualifications and requirements, but that they have all the necessary experience to fit ALL the components. Superior Fires recommends the fitting of all gas fireplaces to be undertaken by a competent fitter registered with Gas Safe (Bord Gais in ROI).

 Please note: A laminate backpanel and hearth is not suitable to be used with our high efficiency gas fires.
